Nokia has announced a partnership with Streamr, a cryptocurrency startup that tokenizes data collected by Internet-connected devices.
Nokia aims to build a project that collects Internet of Things (IoT) data and integrate it with the Streamr Data Marketplace allowing users to monetize it.
Harry Kuosa, Nokia’s 5G Marketing representative, stated:
Nokia community hosted networks can now collect IoT data and integrate it with the Streamr Data Marketplace. This capability allows users to publish their data and sell it — either as individual users or as participants in IoT Data Community Projects.
